Earning worldwide fame playing the portly sidekick in "Borat", Ken Davitian is set to extend his success in another promising vehicle. The funnyman has signed on to take part in "Get Smart", the big screen adaptation of the 1960s TV show of the same name of Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow production.

Joining the likes of Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, and The Rock, Davitian is poised to portray the evil assistant to the head of the nefarious organization known as KAOS, the nemesis of CONTROL which Carell's characters works at alongside Hathaway's.

"It's my first film that is with so many big people," the 53-year-old actor remarked. "It's really an honor for me to work on this."

Slated for a 2008 release, "Smart" has already tapped Peter Segal to helm with Tom Astle and Matt Ember penning the script. The filmmaker, known for his works in "Anger Management" and "50 First Dates", is also seating as the executive producer alongside Carell, Michael Ewing, Jimmy Miller, and Brent O'Connor.
