"Saw" star Tobin Bell has reached agreement to join the cast of "Boogeyman 2."
Already become a household name in horror genre, thanks to the "Saw" movies, Tobin Bell has been picked up to play a lead role in Ghost House Pictures' "Boogeyman 2", Fangoria has reported.
A sequel to the 2005 movie "Boogeyman", the project has also included names like Danielle Savre, David Gallagher, Mae Whitman, Matthew Cohen, and Chrissy Griffith in the cast. Filming is currently under way in Los Angeles to meet a 2008 release.
Directed by "The Grudge 2" editor Jeff Betancourt from Brian Sieve's script, "Boogeyman 2" centers on a young woman (Savre) who voluntarily checks into a mental health facility hoping to overcome her overwhelming fears of the boogeyman, only to find out that that some things are terrifying for a reason. Gary Bryman, Robert G. Tapert, Steve Hein, and Sam Raimi are all set to produce with Joseph Drake and Nathan Kahane executive producing.
