Rachel McAdams reportedly has become the most favorite starlet to replace Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes in "The Dark Knight."
As Katie Holmes has given up her role as Rachel Dawes in "The Dark Knight", the one who will replace her surely becomes a hot topic to talk about among the moviegoers as well as Batman fans, and now all eyes seem to get fixed on Rachel McAdams.
The "Red Eye" star is said to become the favorite actress to assume the role after Emily Blunt previously was rumored to get considered for the part. Insider website batman-on-film.com even claimed that the red-haired beauty is currently in talks to play the character, depicted as the superhero's love interest.
A sequel to the 2005 hit movie "Batman Begins", "Knight" has already had the original cast members like Christian Bale and Gary Oldman returned with newly-cast Heath Ledger playing The Joker. Christopher Nolan is also back to direct, being accompanied by David Goyer who once again handles the screenplay.
