NBC newsman Matt Lauer and wife, former model Annette Roque, welcomed their third child Tuesday Nov 28th.
The baby, a boy, was born at 9:37 a.m. in New York City. He weighed 7 lbs., 4 oz. "Mom, Dad and baby are all doing well," Today spokesperson Megan Kopf confirms.
In honor of his wife's heritage, the boy was given the Dutch name of Thijs (pronounced tice). Thijs is the couple's third child. They have a 5-year-old son, Jack Matthew and 3-year-old daughter, Romy.
