AceShowbiz - Academy Award-winning American actress Hilary Swank will add more to her award collection as she'll be granted an Emery Award, honoring her Oscar-winning role as a transgender teen in "Boys Don't Cry" (1999).
Emery Awards are presented by the Hetrick-Martin Institute to honor support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youths aged between 12 and 21.
Swank has been slated to receive the award Wednesday Nov 29th in New York City, during the 20th annual awards ceremony. Whoopi Goldberg and Kimora Lee Simmons both slated to attend the event, hosted by comedian Margaret Cho.
