While John Mayer denied dating Jessica Simpson, talk is heating up that the blonde beauty could be dating the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo.
Sports Illustrated magazine reported the actress-singer is secretly dating the man. It is said that Romo has had a crush on the pop star, and she says she's always been a huge fan of his ribs.
Romo, who was spotted dining with Simpson's manager father Joe Simpson earlier this month, has refused to deny the romance rumors, simply saying "No comment" and smiling before then turning away from cameras, claiming he had to hurry off to a meeting.
There have yet any signs that Jess and Romo do dating. But Romo's teammate Terrell Owens stoked the rumor by saying on his radio show last week, "Maybe we can double date, and I can go out with Ashlee."
