AceShowbiz - This just in. Chris Robinson filed for divorce from Kate Hudson, his wife of almost six years.
The rocker filed the legal papers Friday November 17th in L.A. Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. According to the court documents, Chris is seeking joint custody of their child, Ryder Russell Robinson and is not seeking spousal support.
Hudson and Chris tied the knot on New Year's Eve in 2000, only a few months after they met. The couple separated on Aug. 14 amid rumors that Hudson was romantically involved with her "You, Me and Dupree" co-star Owen Wilson.
