Dave Chappelle Canceled Las Vegas Show, Giving No Further Explanation



Comedian Dave Chappelle has canceled his performance at Las Vegas' Comedy Festival on Thursday Nov 16th, 2006.

No joke, Dave Chappelle has canceled a performance scheduled for Thursday November 16th at the Comedy Festival in Las Vegas.

Organizers of the event confirmed the report Monday Nov 13th, but giving no further explanation on why the comedian pulled out of the show.

Late-night comic Bill Maher reportedly has been billed to fill in for Chappelle. People with tickets for Chappelle's show will get refunds. The Comedy Festival, put on by HBO and AEG Live, runs Nov. 14 through Nov. 18.
