Hilary Duff Alleged Stalker Pleaded Not Guilty

A New York teenager pleaded not guilty Tuesday Nov 7th to stalking pop star Hilary Duff.

Maksim Miakovsky, the 18-year-old Russian immigrant accused of threatening to kill singer-turned-actress Hilary Duff, was pleaded not guilty to stalking charges Tuesday Nov 7th.

Was charged with the felony following an arrest on Friday Nov 3rd, Miakovsky appeared in court, and his bail was raised to $1 million. He, however, denied planning to harm Duff at an event she was scheduled to attend.

A Nov. 22 hearing was set to determine whether enough evidence exists to order him to stand trial.
