Pop Princess Britney Spears Filed for Divorce from Hubby K-Fed

It's official Britney Spears filed for divorce from husband of two years, Kevin Federline. People were still stunning with her Monday surprise appearance on "Late Show with David Letterman," during which she showed off her post-pregnancy body and now she sent a shock to public worldwide with her divorce petition.

Just one day after showed off her newly svelte shape on Monday night's "Late Show", it was reported that Spears has filed for divorce Tuesday Nov 7th in Los Angeles County Superior Court from rapper-dancer K-Fed. Citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, the singer requested physical and legal custody of the couple's two sons, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month-old Jayden James, with visitation rights for Federline.

Spears, according to her court documents, listed the date of the couple's separation as Monday with the date of her marriage as Oct. 6, 2004, meaning that the Sept. 18, 2004, wedding was fraud. The star, furthermore, asked that each party pays their own legal fees and waives her right to spousal support. She also requested that certain assets, including "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects," be confirmed as separate property.
