Jessica Simpson and Luke Wilson have agreed to star together in "Blonde Ambition", a loose remake of the 1988 flick "Working Girl."
Seems Jessica Simpson's path in film industry goes smoother as time goes by. Fresh from her appearance in "Employee of the Month", the striking singer is reported to have nabbed her next starring role in "Blonde Ambition", sharing scenes together with "Old School" star Luke Wilson.
A loose remake of Mike Nichols' 1988 effort "Working Girl", the project follows "a young woman's journey into the corporate empire" as she tries to work her way to the top from the bottom.
Production on the film is slated to begin on November 27 in Shreveport, Louisiana for a summer release. Justin Berfield is on board to produce while Andy Dick is in talks to play an "evil" secretary.
