Michael Jackson will make a rare public appearance at the World Music Awards in London November 2006.

Public worldwide will see the rare appearance of Michael Jackson at the World Music Awards, held in London next month. That will be the King of Pop's first public appearance in the UK for nine years.

The once world icon has been slated to receive a Diamond Award, given to artists who sell more than 100 million albums.

The 18th annual World Music Awards is about to take place November 15 and will be hosted by Lindsay Lohan. Stars set to perform during the event including Beyonce Knowles, Katie Melua and Mary J. Blige.
