Jeremy Piven and Molly Shannon have joined the voice cast of Exodus Film Group's "Igor."

AceShowbiz - The voice cast of "Igor" gets more highlight by now as two stars namely Jeremy Piven and Molly Shannon have given their agreement to lend their voice to the project, the flick's studio Exodus Film Group has announced.

Lining up with the likes of Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, and Christian Slater, Piven will voice the role of the title character's nemesis Dr. Schadenfreude while Shannon is billed to fill the voice of a giant, indestructible monster named Eva that is invented by Igor.

"Jeremy and Molly are incredibly gifted comedic actors," so the picture's director Tony Leondis commented. "Their versatile and dynamic voice talents are perfect matches for Dr. Schadenfreude and Eva."

A playfully irreverent comedy that brings a new twist to the classic monster genre, "Igor" presents a premise of a mad scientist's lab assistant who aspires to become a great scientist in his own right and win the first prize at the annual Evil Science fair. It has been reported that The Weinstein Company will handle the distribution matters for North American region as well as most foreign territories.
