Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler have both filed police reports early Wednesday morning, alleging each was attacked.
Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler involved in a club fracas which led both parties to file police reports, accusing the other of battery. Did the incident have something to do with "their man", Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker? We'll soon find out.
Tensions between Paris and Shanna got worse Wednesday night October 4th at Los Angeles hot spot Hyde Lounge. Speaking on the incident, Officer Sandra Escalante of the Los Angeles Police Department, said that Paris told police she was the victim of a battery after getting into an unprovoked fight with Shanna at Hyde around 1:30 a.m.
A representative for the hotel heiress further alleged that shortly after Paris arrival at the hot spot, Shanna appeared and "struck Paris in her jaw with closed fists. Paris was hit. She immediately exited the club through the back door. Paris told me it was completely out of the blue--without any provocation whatsoever". Worse, it is said that Shanna was "shouting all kinds of foul words" at Paris "and appeared to be completely out of control."
On the other way around, Shanna's representative claimed both women were exchanging obscenities and that amid the argument, Paris' ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos "intervened, bending Shanna's wrists, pouring a drink on her and shoving her down stairs". Sources close to the actress even added that both the owner of Hyde and police refused to help her, with the nightclub owner supposedly saying "the police here won't help you, I own them."
While a representative for the club busy denied the allegation, insisting "The safety of our patrons is always top priority", both Paris and Shanna filed the complaint at the LAPD's Hollywood division. Police say an investigation is pending. No arrests have yet been made, and no charges have been filed.
