Five Registered in "Jane Austen Book Club"

Maria Bello and other four stars are set to act in a film adaptation of Joy Fowlers' novel titled "The Jane Austen Book Club."

Lining up to make a great cast, five stars namely , , , Ellen Burstyn, and Jimmy Smits have given their agreement to take part in "", a big screen adaptation of Joy Fowlers' bestselling novel of the same title.

Set to direct by Robin Swicord, the project will likely to closely follow the book's story which focuses on six California residents who join a club discussing Jane Austen's novels. During the meetings, marriages are tested and affairs begin while unsuitable arrangements become suitable and love flourishes. Production is expected to begin by early November in Los Angeles.

Bello, a native of Norristown, Pennsylvania, currently can be seen in theaters playing Donna McLoughlin in Oliver Stone's "" while Burstyn can be spotted in "" which has successfully scored $11.7 million in its opening weekend early this month.

As for others, Lucas is last seen in Wolfgang Petersen's "" alongside and Smits in "" reprising his role of Senator Bail Organa. Meanwhile Blunt recently was reported to sign on to Big Beach's new project entitled "" with .
