Married to Britney Spears "Was Tough," Said Kevin Federline

Being famous has its ups and downs. And the downs part hit Kevin Federline.

The husband of pop superstar Britney Spears admitted in an interview with talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres, aired on Wednesday, it is difficult for him being compared to his superstar wife.

He said "I would be lying if I didn't say it was tough. I think the expectation is real high for me".

Further Federline said on the syndicated "Ellen DeGeneres Show", "You know, it's like, you see my wife -- here she is this huge superstar, everybody loves her, all of her music is just hits after hits -- and it's hard to compete".

Nevertheless, Federline insisted that he does not want to compete with Spears professionally, saying "I don't see it as a competition, you know. Maybe other people are putting it in that perspective but to me it's not a competition."
