Charlize Theron will star in "Battle in Seattle" under the direction of her fiance, Stuart Townsend.
Surely it will be a project Charlize Theron can always treasure of. The actress has given her agreement to join the cast of "Battle in Seattle", a film feature which will be the directorial debut of her fiance, actor Stuart Townsend, Production Weekly has reported.
Aside from Theron's involvement, there is no further information on either other cast or production plan of the picture yet, but it has been revealed that Townsend is set to also pen the script. Meanwhile, the story will focus on an eclectic group of demonstrators who brings Seattle to a state of near-chaos during the 1999 World Trade Organization meeting in the city.
A talented beauty of French Huguenot and German descent, Theron is best known for her performance as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the 2003 feature of "Monster" which earned her an Oscar in 2004. She has been dating Townsend since August 2001 and has shared the screen with him in "Trapped" (2002) also "Head in the Clouds" (2004).
