Paris' music video banned in India, while Spears' nude pic on the front cover October's Harper's Bazaar magazine banned in Tokyo.
Britney Spears and Paris Hilton being banned. The two stars have their projects censored. As of Spears, the singer's nude and pregnant photo for the October cover of Harper's Bazaar has been banned by bosses of Tokyo's subway.
The publishers of the publication actually had hoped to post it in a station in a trendy area of Tokyo, yet Tokyo Metro staff decided that the image was a bit too much for commuters. "We thought some of our customers would find it to be overly stimulating," Tokyo Metro spokesman commented.
However, there has been deal that Spears would be covered from her elbows down with a statement printed over the top which reads: "We apologize for hiding part of a beautiful image of a mother-to-be."
Elsewhere, Paris' music video "Stars Are Blind," is considered as too hot for Indian censors that the country's Central Board of Film Certification has issued an "Adult" certification for the video. An official at her local label, EMI Virgin India Ltd., reported that the board said the clip had sexual connotations.
