Aimee Mann's Holiday Album to Arrive on Halloween



Aimee Mann's album "One More Drifter in the Snow" will arrive on Halloween through her own SuperEgo Records label.

The multitalented figure Aimee Mann is done with the recording of her holiday album "One More Drifter in the Snow," which is scheduled to marry the street on Halloween via her own SuperEgo Records label.

As of this new set, Aimee seems to keep the arrangements and song selections fairly classic, taking cues from her favorite Christmas album, Johnny Mathis' "Merry Christmas."

More on the "One More Drifter in the Snow," Aimee and producer Paul Bryan wrote the original "Calling on Mary" for it, while Aimee's husband, Michael Penn, penned "Christmastime."

What's next, Aimee also has been slated for a number of solo acoustic dates through the end of September, beginning August 26 at Los Angeles' Royce Hall as part of the Book Eaters benefit series.
