Edward Burns and Shannyn Sossamon are enlisted in the cast of "One Missed Call", a remake of a Japanese supernatural horror hit.
"One Missed Call" finally has found the right stars to answer its call for proper cast. Edward Burns and Shannyn Sossamon have been confirmed to play the two leading characters in this horror remake of the Japanese hit flick, "Chakushin ari"
Intended to be filmed in Atlanta, the movie's screenplay is adapted from the original feature by Andrew Klavan while Eric Valette will handle the directing matters. Alcon Entertainment, Intermedia and Kadokawa Pictures USA set to produce with Warner Bros. Pictures taking care the film's distribution.
Similar to the original version, the story follows a college student played by Sossamon whose friends begin receiving cell phone messages from the future in which they hear themselves being murdered to later find out that she too is about to become the victim of the terror.
