Pegg Considered to Star in "Run, Fat Boy, Run"

Simon Pegg is in the brink to add one more comedy feature to his resume. The actor is now in talks to play a role in rom-com flick of "Run, Fat Boy, Run", The Hollywood Reporter has reported.

Gaining wide attention for his performance in "Shaun of the Dead", Pegg is last seen starring alongside star-studded cast in "Mission: Impossible 3" while sets to appear next in "Hot Fuzz", also a comedic picture developed by the "Shaun" team.

Aimed to start filming next month in U.K, "Run, Fat Boy, Run" is a directing debut from "Friends" star David Schwimmer under The Gold Circle Films. The story revolves around a charming but overweight guy who tries to win his ex-fiancee's heart after leaving her on the wedding altar. In doing so, he has to finish a marathon while trying to convince her that her handsome, wealthy fiance is actually the wrong guy for her.
