R&B singer Rihanna's "SOS" notched a third week atop the U.S. singles chart Thursday May 18th, 2006


The chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ended Thursday May 18th, 2006 is still Rihanna, thus marking the R&B singer's "SOS" to be on top of the chart for a third week. Following close behind at No. 2 is Daniel Powter's former chart-topper "Bad Day."

Chamillionaire's "Ridin"' ups one place to be at No. 3, while Sean Paul's "Temperature" slips one to No. 4, both of which switch position. Hold strong at No. 5 on the chart is Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go", ahead of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dani California" which rises two places to No. 6.

In the meantime, Lil Jon's "Snap Yo Fingers" bounces seven places to secure the 7th position on the Billboard 100, and rapper T.I.'s "What You Know" falls two to No. 8. Rounding out the Top 10 are Nick Lachey's "What's Left of Me" which drops two to No. 9 and The Fray's "Over My Head (Cable Car)" which slips one only to finish the Top 10 on the chart.
