Weapons Charged Were Dropped Against Young Jeezy

Weapons charged were dropped Tuesday against Young Jeezy because of insufficient evidence regarding his involvement in a March shootout in Miami Beach

Prosecutor Audrey Frank told Miami-Dade Circuit Judge David Young at Tuesday's hearing that the state would not pursue two counts of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit against Young Jeezy.

Further it was confirmed at the same occasion that the charges would be dropped from the rapper's record mainly because of insufficient evidence regarding his involvement in a March shootout in Miami Beach.

Meanwhile, an attorney for the star Donald Bierman, said his client was "simply at the wrong place at the wrong time" when a fight broke out between two groups of men outside the Mansion nightclub in South Beach.
