Widely popular through "One Tree Hill", Sophia Bush is now giving hand at something else. It's big screen movie.
The actress reportedly will play the female lead in the forthcoming drama horror thriller "The Hitcher".
Based on the 1986 classic, the Dave Meyers' direction will follow two young travelers who are tormented by a mysterious hitchhiker.
Work behind the scene is Jake Wade Wall and Eric Brent who both wrote the script, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Bradley Fuller, David Linde, Charles Meeker, and Alfred Haber who are all producing.
Production is scheduled to start this June in Austin, Texas.
