Police are investigating a report by "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul that a man assaulted her at a private party over the weekend

AceShowbiz - American Idol angelic judge Paula Abdul has on Tuesday April 4th, 2006 filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department, accusing a man of assaulting her at a weekend party.
Detailing on the claim, Abdul alleged that she had been a victim of battery at about 1 a.m. Sunday during which fellow partygoer grabbed her by the arm and threw her against the wall. It, in fact, caused her to sustain "a concussion and spinal injuries," said police Lieutenant Paul Vernon.
Police, however, refused to identify the man responsible for the alleged incident until the completion of an investigation. Abdul's publicist Michelle Bega also declined to comment further on that matter.
