AceShowbiz - Drama comedy romance "Beautiful Asian Brides" is ready to roll. The Universal Pictures' project is being developed soon as the studio has tapped writers Steven Gary Banks and Claudia Grazioso.
Meanwhile, Brian Grazer will serve as producer via his Ron Howard's Imagine Entertainment production company with Lucy Liu as the star on board.
Based on an original idea by Les Firestein and P.J. Pesce, "Beautiful Asian Brides" concerns a man wrongly accused of murder who goes undercover as a mail-order bride in an attempt to prove his innocence.
