Bobby Brown will make a one-night-only reunion with his old group New Edition as they are scheduled to perform together at the Essence Music Festival, which will be held July 1-3 later this year in Houston.
Also slated to perform at the annual event is Diddy, who will host a "Diddy and Friends" show, and singers Jaheim and Chris Brown. Moreover, there are also other performers which include Mary J. Blige, Steve Harvey, LL Cool J, Earth, Wind & Fire, Yolanda Adams and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.
The annual Essence Music Festival was first originated in 1995 in New Orleans and usually held the Superdome. However, the hurricane Katrina has forced Essence, the magazine geared toward black women, to temporarily move the festival to Houston.
