Taylor will commemorate her birthday by donating a mobile medical unit to the New Orleans AIDS Task Force

AceShowbiz - There won't be birthday cake nor lavish party. There will only be donation. Yes, that's what Elizabeth Taylor is planning to do in her 74th birthday Monday Feb 27th, 2006.
Apparently Taylor wants a very special and distinct birthday. And thus the actress will commemorate her birthday by donating a mobile medical unit to the New Orleans AIDS Task Force. That's according to her publicist, Dick Guttman.
Speaking on the special donation, Martin Delaney, founding director of Project Inform, a national AIDS organization that helped facilitate Taylor's gift, explained that the medical unit is "like a large recreational vehicle, about 40 feet long, with two examination rooms and x-ray facilities."
The new medical vehicle will make it possible for doctors to provide "vital care" to victims of the disease in New Orleans and surrounding neighborhoods.
