The Genesis Awards is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Just for your notice, the Genesis Awards, which is presented by the Hollywood Office of the Humane Society of the United States, recognize positive treatment of animal issues in the news and entertainment media.
Set to have its 20th anniversary on March 18 at the Beverly Hilton, the event has had several movie titles to be honored. Among the many the entertainment titles there are "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit", "An Unfinished Life", and "Duma".
As of "Wallace & Gromit", the Academy Award-nominated is named outstanding animated feature film for its comic but humane contraptions for exterminating troublesome rabbits. Meanwhile, "Life" is chosen as outstanding feature film for its sympathetic treatment of a bear confined in a roadside zoo, while "Duma" earns family film honors for its tale of the relationship between a boy and an orphaned cheetah.
Some other entertainment titles to be honored at the event include "Wild Parrots," "Rodney", "Higglytown Heroes" and many more.
