Music Artists Included in Billboard Shortlist



50 Cent, Green Day up for "Billboard" Gold

The music competition is getting steamed. The 2005 Billboard Music Awards is coming and here is the list of music artists included in its shortlist.

Up for Artist of the Year are 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Green Day, Kelly Clarkson. Competing for Group of the Year among others Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child, and The Killers. Meanwhile, Fantasia Barrino, The Game, Rob Thomas, and Gwen Stefani are all up for New Artist of the Year award.

As of Album of the Year nominees, include 50 Cent's "The Massacre," Mariah Carey's "The Emancipation of Mimi," Green Day's "American Idiot," and Eminem's "Encore." Hot 100 Song of the Year are Carey's "We Belong Together," Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone," Mario's "Let Me Love You" and Stefani's "Hollaback Girl."
