As the Thanksgiving Day parades take place, you'll see the parade along the street and there are also many notable performers there

It's Thanksgiving Day, time for food, family and most of all parade. America's Thanksgiving Day Parade, from Detroit starts at the Detroit library, 5201 Woodward Ave., and heads south to Grand Circus Park. Along the way you will see balloons and floats plus dozens of bands. Also it will provide you with music by and The Chenille Sisters.

What about New York? Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from New York City besides showcasing 27 floats and 14 super size helium balloons, also shows the likes of , , , , , Aaron Neville, , , Rita Coolidge, Michael Feinstein and performances by the casts of Broadway's "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," "Jersey Boys," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and "Sweet Charity."
