Shania Twain Honored Order of Canada

Shania Twain received the Order of Canada on Friday, the country's highest honor

Country-pop star Shania Twain has been handed the Order of Canada on Friday in Ottawa, the country's highest honor. Hailed for her efforts in eliminating child hunger, including support of several food distribution agencies, Shania was said to have enjoyed "enormous success, yet she remains true to her roots."

"I was surprised, and I was very humbled," Shania said. "I'm not sure it's somewhere I belonged. I'm not even sure I'm quite deserving." Well, it's clear already that she really deserves the honor.
