Robert De Niro Returns to Film in 'Winter'

Years ago, he is best known for his tough roles in action films. His portrayal remains in everyone's heart. Now, as time goes by, the actor is set to make a comeback to film industry after years of hiatus.

Please welcome your idol; Robert De Niro. To mark his return to film, the actor is still in talks to star in "The Winter of Frankie Machine," a drama action flick based on a soon-to-be-published novel by Don Winslow.

The film would see the screen legend De Niro play the role of an organized crime killer Frankie who retires to become the owner/operator of a quiet bait shop. But when he is targeted for a hit, Machine is forced to dust down his gun and return to the business.

"The Winter of Frankie Machine" is slated for a next year production. Though, no writer, director, nor other cast on board.
