Laura Linney has landed lead parts in two films, signing on to star in Barry Levinson's "Man of the Year" and Billy Ray's "Breach"
The year of 2005 sees our movie star Laura Linney busy working on her two film projects. She is set to star in Barry Levinson's "Man of the Year" which starts filming November 28 in Toronto and in Billy Ray's "Breach" that is about to star filming November 16 in Toronto.
As of the first movie, there Laura will play opposite Robin Williams and Christopher Walken. It is a comedy about a Jon Stewart-like host (Williams) of a late-night political talk show who runs for president to make noise on the campaign trail. The stunt backfires after a series of unusual circumstances leads him to victory. In this film, Laura will portray the head of a computer company that investigates those circumstances.
Whereas the later one is a drama thriller which tells the story of FBI traitor Robert Hanssen, who sold secrets to the Soviet Union during the Cold War and later to Russia. Star in alongside Laura is Chris Cooper and Ryan Phillippe. In this flick the actress is set to portray an FBI agent who is in charge of Phillippe's character.
