"We do not deny that we promote ourselves as a happily married couple. We say that because it's true."
It's hard for cream of society to hide or avoid media publication coz they need it. Concerning their status as public figures, they obviously become the center of attention, which people will always watch. In fact, not all publication is positive. Sometimes the glitterati have to deal with the bad and or negative long circulating report. It's suck, but they need it somehow.
See what happen to the highly celebrated couple David Beckham and wife Victoria Adams. They've faced all from the good to the worst ones. Concerning the latter one, they will in the near future set to appear in court to defend their marriage over the claims that they have "cynically" presented a false image to the public to protect their lucrative advertising deals intact.
As we all know that they have dealt with sort of rumors in past period that had something to do with their former nanny Abbie Gibson and David's former personal assistant Rebecca Loos that caused them to undergo legal battles. Now for the umpteenth time they have to battle the same issue. Their happy marriage is claimed as a fake, which they keep maintaining "Because their substantial fortunes depend upon their public perception, ... while the true position is that their marriage has been rocked and seriously damaged ......." Commenting on this, the couple legal representative Hugh Tomlinson declared on their behalf: "We do not deny that we promote ourselves as a happily married couple. We say that because it's true."
Above all, either publication has raised their fame even more which of course, as we all know, resulted in their additional cash.
