"Man of the Year" centers on a Jon Stewart-like host of a late night political talk show who runs for president to make noise on the campaign trail. The stunt backfires after a series of unusual circumstances leads him to victory.

Comic Williams will play the Jon Stewart-like host. The film will begin its production late in the fall. It will be shot in Toronto, with exteriors in Maryland and D.C., and is expected to be distributed domestically by Universal Pictures.
