Idol Loser Signs Up for TV Sitcom



People Magazine is reporting that Constantine Maroulis has signed a sitcom deal with ABC

American Idol loser, Constantine Maroulis, isn't that desperate. Notwithstanding with his failure to be the next Idol, he still has the power to move on and work hard to reach what he wants in his life. And so, Maroulis confidently steps forward, without any hesitation signing up to star in an ABC sitcom. "My name is out there," he told People. "I'm not nervous about the window closing."

The as yet unnamed show is being produced by Kelsey Grammer's company. However, there hasn't any word given detailing on what the sitcom will be about or what character Maroulis will portray.

Elsewhere, Idol Fantasia Barrino has in her new memoir titled "Life Is Not a Fairy Tale," revealed that she once was raped as a ninth grader by a boy to whom she fell in love with. Get the complete story on that book.
