Trisha Yearwood postponed a Wednesday appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" following the death of her father

Jack H. Yearwood, 72, died early Tuesday in Monticello, Ga., Amber Williams, a publicist for Trisha Yearwood's record label, MCA Nashville, revealed. "Please keep the Yearwood family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time," Williams said in a written statement.

Due to that fact, the country singer postponed a Wednesday appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and a Thursday performance at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles. "As a well spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death." Just be tough sist.
