News; Trace Adkins had emergency surgery for an abdominal infection after a concert in Morton, Minn., last week. The country singer publicist, Schatzi Hageman, says Adkins underwent surgery Friday at Redwood Area Hospital following a concert at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton.
Doctors said the surgery was successful and he's expected to make a full recovery. Due to that fact, the 43-year-old singer has to reluctantly cancel concerts in Spencer, Iowa; Hutchison, Kansas; Ashland, Ohio; and Centerville, Michigan.
