The San Juan direction will chronicle the life of Roosevelt as he progressed from a New York politician to commander of the Rough Riders, the First US Volunteer Cavalry Regiment, and on to the White House in 1901. Nicholas Meyer is writing the script, while Scorsese will direct and DiCaprio will star in the title role.
