NIN Chalenges Fans 'Only' Remix

Trent Reznor of NIN is inviting fans to download his band's new single, "Only," and to remix or alter it any way they choose

Experiencing tremendous success with the single "The Hand That Feeds," Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails once again inviting fanatics to download his band's new single, "Only," and to remix or alter it any way they choose. Both tracks are taken from NIN's "With Teeth" (Nothing/Interscope) and commenting on this, Courtney Holt, Interscope Records head of new media and strategic marketing said "This has been a great avenue for Nine Inch Nails to connect with fans."

This time the song has been opened to both Mac and PC users by posting the track in Ableton Live, Digidesign Pro Tools LE and Sony Acid Xpress/Pro in addition to Garageband. In support, Interscope has partnered with MySpace.com to create an online community site for people to upload their remixes, vote for their favorites and comment about their experiences in a blog. What's important is that opening the download file requires agreeing to a license that preserves all of the original rights.
