For a second consecutive week Thursday and a sixth week overall, Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" from her album "The Emancipation of Mimi," ruled Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. Subsequent to her was Gwen Stefani, whose "Hollaback Girl" rose two places to No. 2. Also rose two places to No. 3 on the Hot 100 was the Black Eyed Peas' "Don't Phunk With My Heart," while "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood's version of "Inside Your Heaven" slipped one place to No. 4. Meanwhile her Idol rival Bo Bice's version of the same track dropped three places to No. 5.

Jumped four places to No. 9, was Rihanna's "Pon de Replay," followed by Missy Elliott's "Lose Control" featuring Ciara and Fat Man Scoop, which also jumping four places to No. 10. In addition to those, the top debut on the Hot 100 was Jessica Simpson's version of "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'," a tune originally popularized by Nancy Sinatra.
