Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan was praised by Mayor Bertrand Delanoe of Paris for his film career as well as his smile that the actor was then awarded an honorary medal from the city. Expressing his praise, Mayor Delanoe called the multitalented Chan a "master of humor, of the burlesque and of self-deprecation."
