Handsome actor Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in "The Chancellor Manuscript," a political thriller based on a novel by Robert Ludlum

Paramount Pictures is in final negotiations with Ludlum estate to acquire the rights of Robert Ludlum's novel, whereas actor Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in the book's based polotical thriller entitled "The Chancellor Manuscript." Michael Seitzman, who's in love with the book he had read when he was 10, will adapt the novel.

Leo will play Peter Chancellor, a novelist who is writing a thriller about Washington power brokers being blackmailed with information gathered by intelligence agencies in order to alter U.S. policy. When Chancellor's work of fiction turns out to have stumbled into reality, he ends up on a run for his life, becoming like a character from his own novel.

What will the overall movie tells viewers? We'll wait and see then.
