Eric Clapton's band "Cream," which propelled him to stardom, has took to the stage in London late Monday May 2, 2005, 37 years after their farewell concert at the same venue.
To begin the four dates show, Clapton along with bassist-singer Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker, performed at the Royal Albert Hall to a rapturous reception.
To be honest, the show, which was the trio’s first concerts since their 1968 split, was a huge success judged from its tickets which had been sold out only in minutes. Tickets for the remaining nights are being sold on Internet auction website eBay for up to $1,500 a pair.
