Pop singer Elton John has confirmed he will marry his longtime partner David Furnish later this year or early next year

AceShowbiz - Singer Elton John has voiced a statement saying he's preparing to wed his longtime partner David Furnish. The pop star told the Daily Mirror newspaper that he and Furnish will be having a civil partnership ceremony soon as the new legislation of the same-sex marriage being legalized in the country in December 5 this year.
Moreover, the singer openly admitted his willingness to be the first same-sex couples in the country to hold a ceremony. Detailing on the wedding plan, Elton said "We definitely want to do it about the middle of December, probably in Windsor." To add, he said the ceremony will be relatively low-key, and that the celebrations may have to be delayed and there will be no honeymoon because he's on tour.
