Scorsese Only Nominee

Scorsese's chance to win his Oscar nomination for Best Achievement in Directing has been taken away by his rival Clint Eastwood

This failure has put Scorsese in line with Alfred Hitchcock, Robert Altman, King Vidor and Clarence Brown, all of whom also lost all five times they were nominated.
