R.E.M Sheffield Concert Is Canceled

R.E.M. has delivered a statement on their website comfirming their Sheffield concert has been cancelled because their bassist Mike Mills has the flu


February 22, 2005 R.E.M. has delivered a statement on their website confirming the group Sheffield concert on their UK tour, which should be cancelled because their bassist Mike Mills has the flu. Aren't sure how it would affect the rest of their schedulle, "the band is taking it day-to-day based on the advice of Mike's doctors," the statement said.

Has been receiving medical care in Sheffield and is resting, Mike is hoped to soon be recovered because R.E.M. has rescheduled the Sheffield concert, which actually due in Sheffield on February 21, 2005, for June 15 before the group will then set a new date to perform in Glasgow that should be on February 22, 2005.
