George Michael is quitting the pop world for good in favor of taking a more "behind the scenes" role in the industry

AceShowbiz - Singer George Michael has come to his final decision to quit his pop career and is now focusing more on behind the scene production. He belives that pop music is now already "dead" and thus he's turning his direction to merely compose songs for other musicians.
Such confession was made at the Berlin Film Festival in Germany on February 16, 2005 at the same time George launched the documentary film "A Different Story," which portrayes struggles in both his personal and professional lives as he became a superstar in the 1980s. In the same ocassion George also said his willingness to write a truly contemporary musical merely dedicated for screen, not for stage and that he has found ways to make music he could enjoy just the way he used to.
