Actor Ossie Davies was found dead at his Shore Club hotel room in Miami Beach

AceShowbiz - The legendary actor, Ossie Davis, who fight against racism was found dead early on Friday February 4, 2005 at the Shore Club hotel in Miami Beach, the place where that 87 years old actor had done the filming of his latest film entitled Retirement.
It said that Davis' grandson, quickly called the fire rescue when Davis didn't give any respond at the time he knocked on his door. Still based on the explanation given by Davis' grandson, the Los Angeles police representative said that Davis was dead of heart disease.
To give last respect for Davis, Broadway theaters will dim their lights for one minute on Friday night just like what they usually do to mark the passing of stage legends.
